| IDENTITY CARD
By special courtesy of the proper Swedish authorities, the Organizing
Committee was enabled to issue an Identity Card, a so-called Olympic pass,
for each participant, leader or other official of the Games. The Identity
Card was a substitute for a passport and was
valid during the period of 15th May-15th July, 1956.
No visa was required for the holder of such an Identity Card. |
